Welcome to the 30th episode of our mix series with Mode_1 from Ireland.
Being in the scene for several years, he is resident at Dublin’s subject events series that are regularly taking place at the two best venues in town District 8 and Index.
When it comes to productions he is well known for his releases on labels like Fiedel’s Fiedeltwo or philippe petite's Knotweed Records.
His powerful yet hypnotic sound is characterized by groovy drum patterns and repetitive synth lines. Enjoy!

September’s edition is here and on this episode I am extremely grateful to welcome, Bulgarian artist Ruben Ganev onto the show.

Ruben first caught my attention with his incredible self release on his own Mould Audio imprint. Since he has continued to present his sound in a way that’s unique and outstanding to say the least. 

Based on Sofia, Bulgaria where he also hold his “СКИТНИК” events alongside fellow artists from his scene. Speaking with Ruben tonight we find out more about his musical background and how he structures his workflow in the studio. Plus a little insight into the next release on his label which is a LP from the man himself.

Born in Naples then moved to Berlin in 2011, @francesco-de-luca is a minded artist, running the label @nosignalbln. 
He developed his passion for music when he got his hands on his first vinyl records and  turntables at young age. He kept following the path of music that finally led him to the sound of Techno.

Experimenting, developing his skills for years and expanding his love for Techno also to the DJ side; wandering between various genres and never standing still. He constantly keeps exploring and building up his very own handwriting in electronic sounds. Expressed through smart releases on his own label or others as 4trk Records (Run by DJ Hyperactive), and dope mixes, like this one.

@patejaar is a Georgian DJ from Tbilisi and the founder of the DifferentSound label. He has distinguished himself by his diverse selections offering sounds ranging from groovy to hardcore techno, with the only goal to spread his love of the present moment by music.

@eye_dalia always has been a music nerd by heart but she never saw many DJs that looked like her. Her desire for more latinx representation in the techno scene motivated her to jump into DJing herself.
Main inspirations for her are certain themes in nature, specific film scenes, art as well as her current emotions.
To others she describes her creative work as ‚sexy, sabroso, groovy‘, always wanting to make people dance forever. A key moment in her creative career has been DJing in New York in front her peers and mentors. "Playing for people that are TRUE HEADS was refreshing and I was able to fully immerse myself", she says. In the future she would also like to dive into different fields such as music production and film scoring, which has been a lifelong career goal for her.

According to Idalia, the local talent from New Orleans definitely deserves more recognition, as the queer community is thriving & flourishing beautifully there.
Artists such as Ephemera, Angel Inertia, Phlegm, Heavy Pleasure, Faeregothmother, Special Interest, Bouffant Bouffant are putting amazing work out.

"Back on the dance floor. Mats Heinrich used his time optimally during the long clubbing dry spell to discover which electronic genres moved him the most when standing in front of the DJ booth. An energetic mix came out of it, showcasing his personal adventures through the underground of Leipzig and Berlin techno clubs. For two years now he has been actively shaping Leipzig's nightlife as part of the crew of the ‚Institut fuer Zukunft‘. A groovy rhythm meets shimmering technoid melodies. The podcast is supposed to bring back memories of past raves and arouse the desire to spend an unforgettable time together on the foggy dance floor in the near future again, he says. The influences from the current hypno and up-tempo techno scene define the percussive and at the same time dark pounding style, which MATS brought to the point with its consistent track selection. Our 80th FrenzyPodcast, and second to last of the December series, will be provided by the UK based artist Antonio de Angelis. Antonio has become a respected artist throughout the years due to his constant search of evolving his sound. This has resulted in numerous interesting releases on labels such as KSR, Dynamic Reflection and Children of Tomorrow to name a few.
