This is the first episode of the COMET COLLECTIVE series, featuring ELASTIC's "North" album launch showcase. ELASTIC aka Itay Aluf is a professional music producer from Tel Aviv, Israel.  He started his career in 2013 with the project 'Illusion Tonic,' collaborating with his partner Amit Shomrat. Together, they performed across Israel and internationally, including in Cusco, Peru. In 2020, Itay launched his solo project 'Elastic,' characterized by stretched sounds, fluid vibes, and soaring melodies. Each track tells a story, reflecting his passion for music and unique style. With this fresh approach, Elastic is poised to make a lasting impact in the music scene. In his words: "This set combines my debut album "North" with unreleased tracks, to show and bring my album's atmosphere and the idea behind the album. My album is for remembering my best friend who no longer lives."

Fl!p is the psytrance DJ project of Melbourne resident Alastair Roberts Thomson. Born in South Africa, Fl!p was introduced to electronic music in his very early teens through bands such as The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers & Faithless. He first listened to trance music by stumbling across tracks uploaded to mp3.com and was instantly hooked by the genres driving baselines and powerful melodies. In his late teens he started attending many uplifting trance events where he began encountering some DJs playing psytrance tracks at the end of their sets.

It wasn’t until he attended his first doof, Strawberry Fields 2011, and witnessed Dickster’s sunrise set, that he truly understood the essence of full-on psytrance. Over time, his taste evolved towards the darker, more psychedelic styles, and he now loves playing night time psychedelic full-on. He enjoys this style the most as it takes the groovy elements of full on and mixes them with the twisted leads of forest & dark psy to create a blend that is perfect for a high energy dancefloor.

Armin Van Buuren - ASOT 800 (Utrecht) (Vinyl Set)- 18.02.2017 (Free)

Nebula Meltdown is Kristian Aro, a versatile artist/dj from Helsinki, Finland. He has a long musical background, listening to classical music since he was very young and playing the piano for many years. He got interested in electronic music when he was 12 years old, finding his way into psychedelic trance and various psychedelic downtempo after going through many styles of electronic music. After dreaming of composing for a few years he started to make his own tunes in 2000 and is still on the same road. 

 He has created many different styles of music from soaring UK-style psytrance to oldschool-influenced Goatrance to soothing downtempo and psybient. He is very precise in having a red line to follow throughout his tracks an Dj-sets, taking the listener into places and is always fine-tuning his music with careful precision. During the years he has put up some memorable trance events in Finland and travelled around Europe, Russia, India performing hundreds of gigs. One of the pinnacles of his career has been the performance at Boom Festival 2014. 

 Since 2009 he has been a label dj for the famous Belgian goa-trance label Suntrip Records. 2022 brought the long-anticipated release of his 2nd full-length album, called "Gloria in Excelsis Lumen".

 Riding the globally expanding and increasingly popular wave of psychedelic trance he is always perfecting his sound and skills as a Dj, combining various styles together in the furnace of the Universal Consciousness.
