The band’s debut release captures their eclectic mix of influences in a 4 track EP, bringing together soul, afro-funk and jazz in a unique blend of their own. Self recorded in a friend’s studio over a few days in the midst of the international heatwave last year, Through the Surface EP remains true to the raw energetic sound of their live performances, capturing the band at a unique moment in time.

Nebula Sun are five-piece outfit from Norwich that combine uplifting dance-focused rhythms with atmospheric melodies, blending West African music, Jazz, Soul and Hip Hop to create a unique and vibrant sound. Fresh from a busy year touring the festival circuit and releasing their debut EP “Through The Surface”, the band are beginning 2020 by releasing a new single “The Start Of Time” before touring and recording an album later in the year. Fast making a name for themselves as a live band who create an electrifying atmosphere at their shows with a set that mixes tight arrangements with spontaneity and improvisation, Nebula Sun have been championed by BBC Introducing, Lopa Kothari and BBC Radio 3’s In Tune.
