Media Burn (Lost Soul Enterprises) is the debut EP from the New York City-based artist and the release features 4 industrial slabs of raw electronics forged in the spirit of hardcore punk. A project loosely based on media consumption, control and illusion, the artist embraced an austere process of limited means to create these compositions. Born out of samples mangled beyond recognition, TOTEM rearranges, restructures, twists and decomposes the audio into something that is self-described as “industrial skronk”. The result is a subversive statement which takes audio with a previous life and creates something completely new and totally infectious.
