The origin of the Peteneras is unknown. Some say that it comes from an ancient Hebraic chant, some that it originated in the city of Patenera de la Rivera, and others that it started with a woman named Petenera, a scorned lover who vowed revenge and all men!

Pavane pour une infante défunte (Pavane for a Dead Princess) is a well-known piece written for solo piano by the French composer Maurice Ravel in 1899 when he was studying composition at the Conservatoire de Paris under Gabriel Fauré. Ravel also published an orchestrated version of the Pavane in 1910; it is scored for two flutes, oboe, two clarinets (in B-flat), two bassoons, two horns, harp, and strings.

We played this during some kind of music festival, which took place in a sports hall.
Just in the right moment, a little swallow entered the hall, began to sing and so made itself unforgettable. That was really funny and amazing. You still can hear it if you listen carefully ;-)
