to see the clouds from above is always a special and sublime experience for me. Incredibly beautiful, completely timeless and a bit surreal.

Requiem

Stephen Lord, Artistic Advisor of NEC's opera studies program, conducts Christoph Willibald Gluck's opera Orfeo ed Euridice in Jordan Hall. Based on the myth of Orpheus, set to a libretto by Ranieri de' Calzabigi this production features the NEC Philharmonia and a student cast led by singers in the Artist Diploma program, stage directed by Opera Studies Chair Joshua Major.
