leo is interested in philosophy, performance studies and histories. Currently, leo is working on a multimedia grand opera examining the relationship between performance, aesthetics and labor. Between 2010 and 2016 leo studied Business Management and Arts and Design at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (BR) and attended a program on contemporary arts at the School of Visual Arts Parque Lage (BR). In 2018 leo earned an MFA in New Media from the Universität der Künste Berlin (DE) and was awarded a Fellowship to the Core Program at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Currently, leo is a fellow at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart, Germany. leo’s performative practice and artistic works were presented in the 2020 Fotofest Biennial, Houston (US), in the 2019 Core Exhibition at The Glassell School of Arts - Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (US), in 2018 in Mutterzunge at Babylon, Berlin (DE), and in 2017 in SuperLiv/fe at —fffriedrich, Frankfurt am Main (DE).
