During the 80s, the area known as Grande ABC in São Paulo, lives a small revolution led by the unions from the metallurgical industry. This revolutionary industrial environment served as a backdrop for the emergence of many boy’s bands motivated by the energy that came from the protests in the streets, and how it could not be different, these bands had the fast and heavy sound in common, influenced by bands like Venom , Slayer , Metallica and Dark Angel . Soon the ABC Paulista region became a reference in heavy sound and we can say, without a doubt, that Necromancia is one of the greatest exponents of this scene .

Founded in 1984 by the brothers, Marcelo " Índio " d' Castro ( Guitar and Vocals ) , Kiko d' Castro (Drums and vocals) and completing the formation Edgar " Budega " Gerbelli (bass ) , the band does not take long to begin to highlight and with only two years on the road, they recorded their first album on the legendary compilation " Headthrashers Live " , considered by many as the first record of the scene that turned out among so many talents , the guitarist Andreas Kisser .
The boys matured and learned to play properly and if you want to check it out, just listen to the first single titled " Hypnotic " , where the weight of metal combined with the band's instrumental technique could be appreciated for the first time.

With Roberto Fornero in the band replacing the former bassist Budega , in 1996 the band released their first album, the eponymous " Necromancia " , considered as a classic of the Metal Scene from ABC. The album features standout tracks like "Cold Wish", " No Way Out" and the bold instrumental " Hypnotic " . Produced by Gerard D' arbilly who worked with important bands as David Byrne and David Bowie .

In 2001 , with the production of long-time friend, Andreas Kisser ( Sepultura ) , the Necromancia released its second album titled " Checkmate " . Soon we could see the touch of the producer in this work, which, differently from the previous album had a more heavy metal characteristic. " Checkmate " is a knock on your head, a strong heavy metal album and it is very technical, keeping the Necromancia identity.
With the special appearance of Andreas on the tracks " Action / Reaction" and " Greed up to Kill " Alex Camargo ( Krisiun ) who lends his guttural voice to the track "The Blooding " and sharing the vocals in the nervous track " Farsa " Gepeto (Ação Direta) . In 2004 " Checkmate " was released in Europe by the Belgian label Mausoleum Records, which had a good repercussion in the old continent, getting positive marks in the media .

In 2008, Necromancia deals with the Voice Records sealed, the relaunch of the album " Necromancia ", including all previous phonographic material as: " Headthrashers Live " a demo " Suicidal Madness " from 88 , the compact " Hypnotic " and the hitherto unpublished version of Necromancia for "Dead Embrionic Cells" Sepultura .
On the road for the past 28 years, Necromancia has had the pleasure to share the stage on tours with bands like, Sepultura, Nevermore, Shaman, Exodus, Krisiun, Korzus and several other bands in the national and international scene.
Always performing diverse and exciting concerts, the stage is the place where Necromancia shows its best.

Currently Necromancia released its third studio album titled " Back from the Dead " by the label " Voice Music " , releasing its heaviest and fastest  work of its career, inspired by the source of the 80sThrash Metal. The new album features ten new songs and re-recording of the classic "Death Lust" originally recorded in demo " Suicidal Madness " 1988 .
