Sweet Requiem - Choral

Performed by the talented Louise Keye, Leah Binns, Merrin Torpy, and Alice Tovey, at the 2015 Composition 3 concert at the Melbourne Conservatorium.

Sweet Requiem is dedicated to my Grandmother Kathleen McNeil who passed away last December, and who was so proudly supportive of my music. The composition was written to come to terms her passing, particularly as we were so close.
I find the writing of music such a cathartic process so for me, writing this piece was a useful emotional crutch to get me through quite a difficult stretch of life.
