Dream Odyssey

"Need Your Help" is one of the most personal and vulnerable songs we’ve ever created. At its heart, the track is about the universal experience of struggle—the moments when life feels overwhelming, and we’re forced to confront our inner demons. But more importantly, it’s about the realisation that, in those moments, we can’t do it alone. We all need help. Whether it’s from the people we love, the friends who stand by us, or simply those who offer us a hand when we’ve lost our way, this song is a celebration of connection and the strength that comes from accepting support.

For the first time, this song features the band’s members—Josh, Ben W, Dom, and Ben H—singing together. We’ve always been a band that leans heavily on the power of music to express emotion, but *"Need Your Help"* marks a significant moment where we all step up vocally. Each of us, in our own way, shares a piece of our vulnerability. The act of singing these words together represents our collective admission: that there are times when we need to lean on others. It’s a rare and raw moment in our music—one that feels like the most honest and human expression we’ve shared as a band.

The song itself is driven by the theme of reaching out and acknowledging our limitations. It speaks to those times when we feel isolated by our struggles, when we feel like we’re carrying the weight of the world on our shoulders. It’s a powerful reminder that the hardest thing can be admitting we need help, but once we do, we find strength in the people around us. In order to overcome the darkness, to beat our inner demons, we need to allow others into our lives and share the load. The chorus, where all four of us sing together, carries the heart of that message: *“I need your help with this”—a plea for connection, understanding, and the courage to ask for support.

Musically, "Need Your Help" blends vulnerability with hope. The track starts quietly, with a sense of introspection, but gradually builds into something larger and more dynamic. It reflects the journey of coming to terms with the fact that we are not invincible, that we cannot face our struggles alone. Need Your Help

"Monsters & Miracles” is a song that speaks to the internal struggles we all face—the battles inside our minds that can feel like endless wars. It’s about confronting the monsters within: the fears, the doubts, the regrets—and yet, still holding onto the belief that miracles are possible. The track navigates the dark and light sides of human existence, showing that even in the face of personal demons, there is always room for growth, change, and redemption.

This song is deeply personal, especially for our bass player, Ben Walsh, whose ongoing struggle with Chronic Kidney Disease has been a defining part of both his life and the creation of this album. Ben has faced the relentless physical toll of ill health and we as a band have had our struggles watching someone we deeply care about face these challenges—an experience that can sometimes feel like a constant, uphill battle. "Monsters & Miracles” reflects this internal war—how Ben, like all of us, is fighting not just physical illness but the mental and emotional toll that it brings. It's a reminder that illness isn’t just a fight with the body, but a fight for the mind, for hope, and for the strength to keep moving forward.

The song features a powerful poem by Charles Bukowski, read by Tom Waits. Bukowski’s words speak to the rawness of human existence—the feeling of being crushed, the overwhelming struggle to survive, and the resilience it takes to rise again. For Ben, the poem resonates deeply. He’s lived through moments when the struggle felt too much to bear, but "Monsters & Miracles" is about refusing to let the darkness define us. It’s about facing the monsters that try to take away our strength, and despite it all, still believing in the possibility of a miracle. 

Musically, the track captures the tension of this battle. It begins with a dark, heavy atmosphere, representing the weight of the monsters we carry—those parts of ourselves that feel too large to overcome. But as the song progresses, it opens up into moments of clarity and light, symbolising the miracles that come when we confront our fears head-on. The track ebbs and flows, reflecting the emotional landscape of someone like Ben, who faces daily physical challenges but continues to push forward, refusing to let his illness define him.

"Monsters & Miracles" is ultimately a song about resilience—the strength to keep fighting, even when the battles feel too much to handle. It’s about embracing the struggle, acknowledging the monsters within, but also believing in the possibility of miracles. For Ben, it’s about accepting the reality of illness, but also recognising that there is power in not giving up—there is power in continuing to believe that change is possible, that growth can happen, and that strength comes from the people around us.

This track is a celebration of that strength, both personal and collective, and a testament to the miracles that arise when we allow ourselves to face the monsters without fear.

In Inertia - Two of Us

We were preparing to return to our original timeline from Rodinia when a sudden disruption in the fabric of time swept us away. We found ourselves above the clouds, on a floating island known as Reyk.
This was no myth, but a marvel of human design. In an age where tectonic shifts and relentless disasters had rendered Earth’s surface unlivable, an ancient civilization used technology far beyond our own to raise cities into the sky. Above the storms, they built new nations suspended in the air.
Reyk stays afloat thanks to a rare ecological force, born from the delicate balance between humanity and nature. The energy pulsing through it is strikingly similar to the one produced by Rodinia’s Eternal Flowers. Intrigued by the connection, we began our descent into this airborne world, unaware of the fractures hidden behind its breathtaking facade.
