Arriving on Radio Slave’s vital Rekids imprint following 2020’s ‘Freedom of Fear EP’ on Rekids Special Projects, British duo KUSP deliver the captivating ‘Folding’, featuring vocals from Pablo:Rita and remixes from label boss Radio Slave and electronic music luminary Roman Flügel. A deviation from the duo’s upfront techno records, which have been supported by likes of Luke Slater, Regal, Truncate, and more, KUSP have crafted an emotive breakbeat jam featuring vocals from London-based duo Pablo:Rita.

“Folding is something a little bit different from the usual techno records we put out, it’s melodic, uplifting and deviates away from the normal 4/4 beat we’ve been known for in the past. It’s a track we’ve kept under wraps for quite a while now but we’re over the moon to finally unleash it on Rekids. - KUSP

Following the A1 is the ‘After Dark’ mix, which sees the duo head to heavier territories, stripping away the vocals and going for the jugular with crisp, pounding drums under the original’s melodic touch. On the flip, Roman Flügel brings his years of clubland experience to the table, introducing a wonky electro-esque pattern, arpeggiated synth lines, before an ecstatic breakdown takes hold. For the final version, Radio Slave returns to his use of breaks and delicate atmospherics with his evocative, early-rave referencing ‘New Age Of Love’ remix.

We’ve got your Friday techno fix covered from the one and only, Mark Broom returns to Rekids ahead of his 100% Juice Album Sampler. This is techno funk of the highest order from the UK don.

Mark Broom has been making classic techno cuts since the early 90’s and his work serves as inspiration to many today. Through his work under Mark Broom and several seminal alias’s including Rue East, Lighter Thief, Killa Productions, The Fear Ratio and more, the London techno don remains one of the most authoritative figures in UK techno.

The record making machine has landed 12 inches on world renowned labels such as Blueprint Records, Rekids, M-plant, EPM, Cocoon, Bpitch Control, Warp Records and the legendary Ifach with Baby Ford.

Broom has also collaborated with techno giants Robert Hood, Floorplan, Alan Fitzpatrick, Gary Beck and more.

His track ‘Spiked’ is a funk-laden groove that is simply irroestiable in it’s simple yet funky nature. Broom is in a league of his own when it comes to wonky techno grooves, as unruly leads flutter atop of the jacking groove. This is vintage broom with a modern twist, everything you would come to expect from the king of jacking techno and so much more.

PREMIERE: V111 - Erotik Talk

V111 readies his ‘Erotik Talk EP’ for Rekids Special Projects this March.

V111, aka Jacopo Varen, is an Italian DJ/producer who has produced music since 2013 under his V111 and Varen aliases for labels such as Suara Music, Pushmaster, Opium Trax and many more. Arriving for the first time on Radio Slave’s techno-focussed Rekids Special Projects, V111 delivers four racy tracks crafted for pounding clubs and dark rooms.

Leading the release, the title track ‘Erotik Talk’ opens with crunchy percussion and twinkling leads before a creepy breakdown introduces a powerful sense of dread. ‘BDSM’ maintains the energetic pace of the EP, bringing sliced up vocals and rave stabs alongside a powerful 4/4 pattern. ‘Ball Gag’ sees twisted synthesis wrapped around heaving drum programming, making for a dense techno jam, while ‘Sex Domination’ sees squeaky FX paired with shimmering hats to close out the EP.

PREMIRE: V111 - BDSM [Rekids Special Projects]

When I finally arrived on Tuesday the 26th of April in Groningen to play at Paradigm's King's Day event in the Netherlands, I had started my travel the previous day in the desert of Coachella. Sometimes you have to endure a long trip in order to play an awesome party on the other side of the planet. Paradigm is run by a super friendly family-like crew with a lot of love and compassion and exactly those factors matter a whole lot when it comes to techno parties… or techno in general really. What an extraordinary vibe that was, that can be easily compared to a night at Berghain in Berlin or similar places where the music and the location are the main ingredients for a great time. Thanks to that awesome crowd that gave me so many new ideas to mix tracks together and try out some new things. Dank u well everyone who came out and I can't wait to be back! Even after this long weekend in Las Vegas/Coachella/LA and trip back to Europe, I didn't wanna stop playing.. so the set is a little longer than 3h… Today´s AMFM contains the second hour of the set, hope you enjoy!

Premiere: Long time Soma affiliate, Rebekah, teams up with X-Tension for an absolute riotous collaborative new release, the Rancor EP. An aggressive beast, this newly formed partnership wastes no time in hitting hard with an absolutely monstrous 3 track EP

Title tracks 'Rancor' is a jarring and driving affair with screaming, distorted percussion and huge pulsing synth hooks, this is certainly one beast no cage can hold. 

'First Encounter' brings out the nightmare vibes from the off as a blood curdling synth drone gives way to pummelling kicks and a proper jacked up rhythm. This track really takes things up a notch with creative programming and sharp, slicing percussive workouts. 

'Don’t Tell Mama' closes out this collab the pair’s no nonsense approach continues to hammer through. Rough and ragged drums sear consistently while freakish vocals haunt the breaks, backed by thundering, highly processed drones.

We are happy to have a new Italian artist  P4PS on "Sonntag Morgen" with this album  Along the three tracks he explores the sides of techno music very carefully.
Cyclic, features a very dynamic and well saturated classic 909 drum. The main synth is repeated throughout the track, very smoothly modulated with dub veins.
Eternal, straight from an alternate dimension, resonates with surgical sounds and synthesizers reminiscent of shadows, creating a unique atmosphere.
Strobo remixed version by "Translate" , has a unique character and a complex composition, made up of synthesizers that communicate perfectly with each other and a very robust bass line.
Strobo coming directly from deep space, is characterized by sine and resonant waves that give a splendid groove and that manage to convey the necessary sensations of a not so distant future.
