After their 1st birthday celebrations at the end of last year, 2019 will see Needs switch its attention to our planet and environment. The aim is to raise awareness of deforestation and climate change, and they kick things off with a record featuring Eris Drew, Edward, D. Tiffany and Henry Hyde. 

2018 was a big year. After partnering with UN Women on their HeForShe gender equality campaign back in March (which featured a vinyl release and London fundraiser with Peggy Gou), they went on to celebrate their birthday with a record raising awareness for mental health which showcased the production talents of DJ Normal 4, Red Axes and Hodge. 

Keep your eyes peeled for a series of events around the UK to coincide with the release. All profits donated to Cool Earth.

Multiplex returns this November with ‘Obey The Night’, a split EP between Orlando Voorn and Luca Lozano which each artist remixing the other’s track on the package. Danish imprint Multiplex has been releasing material from many esteemed artists in Techno for many years, with the back catalogue featuring projects from the likes of Dan Curtin, John Tejada and Mark Broom to name a few. Here we see the imprint welcome the return of Dutch R&S artist Orlando Voorn, who released on the label under his Ultra guise back in 2002 and most recently with ‘Planet Ultra - The Lost Tracks’ earlier this year, here he shares the release with Klasse Wrecks founder Luca Lozano.

This year marks 3 years of Needs.

Since humble beginnings in 2017, the label has gone on to release tracks from some of our favourite artists in the scene, as well curating events with essential charities and initiatives such as UN Women's HeForShe campaign, and also Earth Day.

To mark this special occasion we’re back where it all started, raising money and awareness for mental health. October 10th marks World Mental Health Day and this year's theme set by the World Federation for Mental Health is suicide prevention. To recognise and promote this occasion we’ve brought along another all-star cast to help us spread the message far and wide.

Needs 008 is a double vinyl compilation which features the talents of ​Shanti Celeste​, ​OCB​, ​Michelle​, ​Bobby.​, Peder Mannerfelt​, ​Yu Su​, ​Adam Pits​ and ​DJ Sports​.
