Bred, born, and raised in Hawaii L.P. “Neenz” Faleafine is a nationally recognized expert in the application and use of social networks to gather intelligence, build online communities, and to use those networks to achieve favorable end results.  She is a Community Developer at Hawaii’s leading R&D firm Oceanit focused on discovering new technologies to process online content to build sustainable and engaged communities. She approaches social media marketing from a social scientific perspective, developing community building system, ALIVE.

Ms. Faleafine also serves as the Chief Evangelist for leading news aggregation site Alltop. She used the ALIVE System to build a supportive community propelling the web property to one of the top 5,000 in the world.

She is also the Founder of strategy and consulting company, Pono Media.  Her clients include McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii, Servco Auto Centers, and the Neil Abercrombie for Governor campaign.  Pono Media has expanded their services from strategy and consulting to web and mobile application development through their partnership with Tapiki, LLC.

She has been a keynote, featured speaker, panelist, and trainer on the subject of social media, social media strategies, and building communities using social network marketing.

Before entering the technology industry, Ms. Faleafine spent more than a decade building communities as a property manager for low-income housing properties across Hawaii and Texas.
