'Fields of Gold' is the sophomore single from experimental  trip-hop artist, Neeq Serene.

A stirring and emotive soundscape, the track features hypnotic vocal layers sung in both English and Urdu, inspired by Serene's South Asian roots. The chorus line "mere khayalon ki duniya" translates literally to, "the world of my thoughts."

When writing the song, Serene envisaged the crossing of the boundary from this world to the next; the hereafter, where departed souls do meet again.
