an Exit ramp somewhere in Illinois
white noise of tires on roads makes him ill
drop in some extreme, kick butt, CD tunes
ease back upon his head rest and just chill
while traveling to a new face with no plan
he stares at the directions in his hand
he's getting close to where he wants to be
he stopped three times to eat, and take a pee
warm breezes through the window bring the scent
of summer nights, in this state, fate has lent
soon he is just but one left turn away
moon hanging fingernail-ish, lights his way
to seven numbers listed yesterday
and promises that sent him on his way
soon doorbells chime, and then her brightest smile
invites him in for wine, to stay awhile
small talk, it leads to silent, lingering stares,
on what kisses might feel like, if they're shared
till lips dance in a velvet, smooth embrace
an ancient joy that's known as sucking face
as passion lights a gleam in hazel eyes
that fill with hunger, both the girl's and guy's
till clothes are flung like bothers on the floor
as lips and tongues begin to seek out more
soon there's such intense pleasure as they play
and he finds nothing Left to turn away
thier sighs sail high above the nois of Ill
car's horns and cat's meows, through windowsills
but nothing matters to the two who mesh
in heavenly beings blended of one flesh
each silky glide in shadowed places wring
shivers of pure bliss, clasping spasms bring
but suddenly a bell rings really loud
as all the visions vanish in a cloud
to form a room, and one big empty bed
she shakes the sweet dreams from her lovely head
then goes down to eat breakfast food instead.

Uncle Bob was literally the homie. :) Love you. 
I was the luckiest girl on earth, one day. 
Knowing that my uncle could speak magic, in his own way. 
I was a giggling goose,
 a schoolgirl, on the loose. 

Anything I could imagine, he had the brain to take it, and then - Bounce it right back, at you! 
No, I can't make this shit up. 
he was Crazy,
 interesting, loving, beautiful beyond, belief. '

Living a life, many people would be, scared, scared to just be.
It started when he was just little a boy. 
Young in the world, well life, it made him it's toy. 
Schizophrenia is a serious disease,
 and many don't make it 
but he did you see. 

My uncle was the justice the earth needs. 
Living his truth one day at time, in a way that was hard,
 but, he just lived.
 His heart on the line. 

Rode a vespa across the country,
 not kidding 
ya' he did
just so he could reach the ocean. 
Fishing for crab, talking about an island, 
way out at sea, a paradise just for him,
 but said he'd share it with me 

Loved his wife as she slowly died, sticking loyally by her side, living through God know what.
But the family didn't understand his luck. 

It's easy to run away from people you love just because things get rough,
 but the thing he taught me is, stick tough,
 people will Suprise with who they are.
and then you're the one with treasure....
more more more valuable by far. 

Where there was joy, he was bound to find it. 
Even when the joy was black like night. 
I got to meet my uncle bobby, and boy, he sure changed my life. 

Talking to him was like seeing the stars for the first time
wild, open, unpredictable,
 but worth is all. 
he opened the eyes of many 
to a world beyond us all

Medication after medication, but nothing would wake him, because what doctors don't know, 
is how people like us grow,
 and, he had been awake a long time already.

Even from the side of street, the yards of grief, and the joy of a native American dream catchers. 
Alive and true, he wore his color every shade of the rainbow true.

Not many people can avoid the struggle of heartbreak and trying to save a relationship while becoming resolved that it needs to end. There are at least 2 sides to every story, but in my experience working with countless people trying to move on, that it is not easy.The breakup - make up cycle can go on for years until for many, that day arrives. That day when you know, enough is enough and it is truly the end. You do not want to cut and run in relationships without trying to work things out - but there is also the other side of the extreme, which is overcooking and drifting into numbness.
