I waited until the night stopped moving.

There is a moment, just before the world exhales,
where everything hangs in a perfect, silent bruise.
That was the hour I chose.

I lit no candles.
I needed the dark to see me clearly.

The first sound was my own breath,
thin as a thread, cold as bone.
Then the pulse came —
not mine,
not the world’s —
something deeper, older,
dragging itself up from beneath the floor of my mind.

I didn’t resist.
I never do.

Ruin has a way of recognising its children.

The song rose inside me like a shadow forming teeth.
Slow, deliberate, hungry.
I let it carve the room open.
I let it carve me open.

And there it was —
that familiar truth,
the only one that never lies:

And I enjoy, I enjoy like the devil.
It feels so clean — no empathy.
It feels so right — no agony.

Some people fear the dark because they think it hides things.
I know better.
The dark shows everything —
every fracture,
every ghost,
every truth we bury in daylight.

Tonight I walked through all of them.

No fire.
No rage.
Just that quiet, perfect cruelty
that comes from knowing exactly who you are
when the last light dies.

Just a record of the moment
