Für den ersten November 2021 gibt es Mal wieder eine Special Ausgabe des KataHaifisch Podcasts. Zu Gast ist der Weltenbummler & DJ Deep Ghosh. Er lebt seit einigen Jahren in Deutschland und folgt hier seiner Passion für die Musik, der Fotografie und das Reisen. Seit seinen Anfangen als Discjockey und Stimmungsmacher hat Deep Ghosh eine steile Karriere hingelegt. Shows und Auftritte spielte er bereits in Deutschland, den Niederlanden, Groß Britannien, auf Bali und auch in Melbourne. Ganz gleich ob auf dem Afrika Burn, im Birgit & Bier oder in einem Bremer Szene-Club, Deep Ghosh versüßt hungrigen Feierwütigen garantiert ihre Partynacht. Auch im Netz hat sich unser heutiger Gast einen Namen gemacht. Seine Sets und Podcasts erreichen zehntausende Plays und hunderte von Likes. 
Der heutige Podcast ist wieder einmal von überragender musikalischer Qualität. Der Spannungsbogen baut sich wie ein roter Faden über das gesamte Set auf und jeder Track klingt genau richtig an seinem Platz. Alles in allem handelt es sich um eine wunderbar anmutende Downsnappy Kreation. Wie dafür gemacht, um an kalten Tagen dem Seelenfeuer ein wenig einzuheizen.

An artist who attracts the crowd with his appearance, his versatility, his ability to reinvent himself and inspire the masses. Techno is present everywhere these days, only a few artists stand out from the rest in this genre. Lukas Stern dares new musical paths and therefore he managed to get recognition in the electronic music scene since he started djing back in 1994. Based in Stuttgart he still has big goals and lives his motto „Techno is an attitude“. He is, among others resident DJ at the well known Club Lehmann in Stuttgart and the Decadance series in Ulm.

A few years have passed since the day I saw myself playing to share my love and passion for music.
Music, as pure vibration, is a powerful healing tool and has healed me so many times. During dark times of sadness and loneliness, music connected me to deeps feelings of joy and gratitude, bringing my soul back to life. I’m forever grateful for all the things that music brought to my life such as unique moments and experiences, lifetime friends, profound connections to humans, myself, and the Universe.

During @mira_kater’s birthday in Berlin last December, I decided that 2020 will be the year where I will start playing and stop postponing my dream.
Orkatz was born that weekend, in a moment of pure bliss listening to all the amazing artists who played for Mira and us at Katerblau, my favorite club in Berlin.

I was fast to buy Traktor, but not so fast on starting to play. Maybe a lack of self-confidence, lack of time also… but my two fairies friends Sonia & Cindy offered me the opportunity to play during an enchanted weekend they organized last weekend. I did not feel ready but I said YES. There was no way I would postpone this again and it was the perfect set up to start. A beautiful house and magical garden by the river, 25 friends who could only give me the best support and love, with no pressure of being perfect or being judged.

The night before, I created my playlist, bought tracks I love, imagined what I wanted to share, opened Traktor, and started exercising.
I finished working on my future first set in the car…
Two mornings after, I was behind the decks and pressed play…
By doing so, I know I am engaging myself into a completely new cycle of my life journey.

I can't thank enough my friend and musical mentor @lucid-paris, a Dj and now music producer that I always believed in and pushed to reveal his talent to the world. Now roles have changed and he is the one teaching me and giving me the courage to start playing.

So enough writing here is my very first set.
Please be kind on the little technical bugs. I am fully into a learning process so it’s definitely not perfect…

A special tribute to my two fairies friends Cindy and Sonia who gave me this amazing opportunity to step out of my cocoon…

OrKatz | Alĕph. | Le Moulin Innatendu - Summer 2020

After a long summer filled with music, open airs and different gatherings, this was my last festival of this very special season. 

It was my 3rd year at Ponyhof, in the wonderful Schloss Schönow, and I am so grateful that I was invited again this year. 
Due to the pandemic, we were gathering only outside in the garden and the whole program had to be adapted. I was playing the sunset slot on Friday evening, after we all reunited in the garden and shared a potluck with friends I haven't seen for a while. This was just perfect <3

Because of the timing, I could start my set with softer tunes to accompany the dusk, and slowly get into groovy and more dancefloor oriented sounds while entering the night. 

This set contains a lot of tracks I carried with me this whole summer.
