Nefta Lee, hailing from the wind-kissed slopes of Galicia, blends ramshackle troubadour anthems with full-bodied Latin charm. Starry-eyed romanticism and a tragicomic turn-of-phrase make this Spanish singer-songwriter’s guitar ballads a poignant take on modern life and love. Like a wandering minstrel of old, Nefta has traversed the globe and picked up pointers from the dizzying array of musicians he’s played with in Argentina, Iceland and (current home) Norway. Three albums into his career, he’s currently working on his fourth studio album and hopes to release it this year. Nefta (no relation to kung fu legend Bruce Lee) evokes a melancholy joy with his live performances which hits a nerve with fans all over the world.
