Random Records presents DON PEPE and "The Secret Chamber of Dreams". This DJ-set is an extension of his upcoming album "Mossbädd Sessions", where a couple of the album tracks will be spotted. Not bound to any particular genre, this is a deep, pure and futureprimitive take on electronic trance music. Don Pepe fell into the rabbit hole of psychedelic music in his early teens 20 years ago, and started playing around with DJ-gear soon after. Many deaths and rebirths have passed since then, where the only constant has been a neverending, everlasting love for musical, natural and transcendental exploration. Although deeply rooted in ”Psy”, he’s equally active in chill out and alternative dance floor settings, fusing his many influences into dynamic, emotive marathon DJ-sets. In recent years he has put more focus towards the production side of things in the studio, resulting in two debut albums released later this year. Partly as Pepe’s Bodega, his Psytrance collaboration project, on Mark Day’s new label Muinima Sounds, and partly the "Mossbädd Sessions" album on Random Records. The latter is a compilation of tracks made in the spring of 2021, while living in Mossbädd deep into the woods of Södermanland. Influenced by past travels, nature and many corners of his record collection, it’s a deep dive into Don Pepe’s musical legacy. Apart from that he has worked as a music journalist within the Swedish Electronica scene, artist manager for international festivals like Midnight Sun Festival, and is currently running Navigare Audio, a record label focusing on deep, entrancing Techno.

While scrolling on my recorder I found a recording made last september on the cozy Family Of Sound gathering in Belgium. I'm slowly evolving as a person and as artist and I feel I won't play a lot Goa Trance sets the next years. I'm digging deeper into other (psychedelic) music and feel that I want to explore this music more and start playing sets like this. See this recording as a throwback to our indian summer and accept it as a small goodbye (for now) gift from Payba. This set was played at 2pm so it's way less dark then you're used from my side. Enjoy it!

Don't think I'll totally stop as a DJ. More sets will come but they will be played with vinyl, the music will be slower, it will be a mix of different styles and I will perform as Thojo. Soon more info about it. xoxo

Camilla es una DJ de 23 años, con sede en Copenhague, Dinamarca. Comenzó a explorar el psytrance y la escena cuando tenía 14 años, y ha estado dando vueltas desde entonces. Comenzó a pinchar a fines de 2017, y desde entonces ha sido una DJ en ascenso en la escena en Dinamarca. Antes de eso, ha estado haciendo diseño de sonido en teatro y produciendo ambiente y doblaje. Su pasión por la música ha estado con ella desde la infancia, y comenzó a disfrutar la música electrónica desde muy temprana edad. Ella siempre está tratando de expandir su biblioteca de música, y se está moviendo entre el crepúsculo, la noche, fullon y recientemente comenzó a cavar en el house y el techno.

¡Siempre puedes esperar una gran energía, vibraciones funky y ritmos frágiles inyectados directamente en tus venas, cuando ella gira las cubiertas!

Camilla is a 23 year old DJ, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. She started to explore psytrance and the scene when she was 14, and have been hanging around ever since. She started DJing at the end of 2017, and have since then been a rising DJ in the scene in Denmark. Before that, she has been doing sound design in theater, and producing ambient and dub. Her passion for music has been with her since childhood, and she started enjoying electronic music from a very early age. She is always trying to expand her library of music, and is moving between twilight, nighttime, fullon and recently started digging into deep house and techno.

You can always expect high energy, funky vibes and brittle beats injected directly in your veins, when she spins the decks!

Neg Nancy is a dj project that was created in 2020, but her psychedelic journey begins much earlier, in 2014 when she attended the psytrance festival for the first time. Not long after that, she starts DJing with house and techno. Not limiting herself to genres, she quickly started mixing psychill and psychedelic trance. After her gig at Dragon's quest festival and at domestic club and open air parties, Neg Nancy was created, to continue her psychedelic journey with enthusiasm, love and constructive criticism towards music. Her sets often include forest and dark psy with deep atmospheric melodies and undertones of any other subgenre of psytrance music such as progressive, hi-tech, trance, psytech, etc.
