In 2014 negative lee nyce sent a verse to an aspiring DJ with the intent to have it featured on an EDM 'party mix', but after two years (with no placement) the verse was re-discovered laying around his hard-drive. At that same moment Doc Remedy (of Scenic Route) issued a statement that said he was currently looking to create some 'remixes' in his off time - this is the outcome!  Taking only the stems Remedy remixed lee nyce's verse on an original dark Piano beat as he produced the entire track from scratch + added depth by placing a Doc Remedy verse alongside negative.

Born to a suburban family in Southwestern Virginia, negative lee nyce was introduced to Hip Hop at the age of 7. During his elementary years he would begin the journey by breaking & adolescent tagging, but once reaching junior high he would find a connection to poetry which would kick-start his rhyming through-out his high school years. In late '97, lee nyce began recording independently alongside a group of emcees (Under-gradS) & later, with producer Kid Sugoi (Pittsburgh, PA), would make several songs available through '98-'02. In late 2005 after a recording hiatus, the illegal prophets (lee nyce & Sugoi) production style 'mangled soul' was created out of necessity in order to craft an original project. This coerced lee nyce to return in '08 & '09 with a slew of mixtapes & guest appearances with fellow artists before flooding the web with the release of his long awaited debut "Moms Was My Roommate" (entirely produced by Kid Sugoi) in 2010. Since then lee has proven that his sharp witty lyricism is at it's best, continuously changing the culture by taking risks within his writing beside a collection of talented producers.
