Onze 1e festival editie was het 2e hoofdstuk van onze beweging en de 1e keer dat we elkaar in het daglicht zagen. De gemoederen waren hoog en de stemming was heerlijk grimmig. Maar de glimlach op alle gezichten verraadde dat we hier iets ongelofelijks hebben meegemaakt samen. 

Wij zijn TEGENDRAADS en wij zijn trots op jullie allemaal. Bedankt voor een dag die de geschiedenisboeken in zal gaan en waar de Goden nog eeuwen over zullen spreken.

A Persian/German DJ from Cologne, Negitiv’s passion for music began with psytrance in 2015. She grew up with classical music and quickly realized that the best way to express her feelings was to create her own music, with
minimal or no vocals.
Negitiv’s motivation has always been to connect with the audience by sharing her intimate thoughts. The hard kicks and fast BPM serve as her means to transfer her own energy to the crowd. She initially explored Various electronic genres before discovering that hardtechno, schranz, and industrial captured her heart.

𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄
CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

aXe: Techno has been growing significantly in the Netherlands in recent years. Due to the hype, I encountered Bochka at an event about 1.5 years ago. From the moment I heard it, I knew I wanted to do something with this style. The growing popularity and increasing number of events motivates me every day to break through.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

aXe: The set consists of Bochka and industrial tracks with dark, rough kicks. My goal was to create a good balance between minimal breaks and occasional build-ups in this set.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

aXe: I started out playing hard techno until I discovered bochka. It completely changed my playing style, as I moved from using a lot of breaks to just a few. Watching other DJs at bochka events has also helped me refine and develop my style further.
