JULES A/K/A JULES NEGNOIR A/K/A JULES ESKLAV FIJITIV AKA HAITI JULES.

JULES journey began with freestyling in the streets of Haiti. There he
developed a unique style from the hybrid of Haitian Creole and English
lyrics. During their freestyle sessions, JULES and his peers pushed each
other to use innovative delivery and complex intonation.

In 1990, JULES moved to Boston and continued writing music and lyrics.
New experiences led to the progression of his freestyle influences from
Haiti. In ’93 he returned to Haiti for a couple of years. Here he decided to
passionately pursue the production of his own music as an expression of
self. When JULES returned to Boston, he joined a group called Jahmala.
Working with Jahmala led to the release of a full-length album and a video.

JULES has since developed his craft as a solo artist and he is ready to
share his talents with the world. He instantly became the highlight of
Haitian Flag Day (May 18, 2001) when he performed in front of over 500
fans at Boston’s City Hall. JULES also received press when he performed
at a Black History Month event at Brandies Univ. (Boston). Other recent
performances include the Caribbean Culture Night at Salem State
University, SAK PASE RECORDS event SOBS 2012, CBG'S NYC, WHISKEY BAR, Tampa, FL and more...

JULES has completed an album and he will be the debut artist on Negnoir
Records International. His debut album is pure expression of self. JULES
has embraced his music completely for it consumes his every moment.
