Jamie Lidell "When I Come Back Around" (Freeform Reform)

A nice lively mix of soulful funk, disco and 80s grooves from the vaults, starting with Gary Byrd and the GBs' awesome 'The Crown' (complete with a wonderous 'Stevie Break' in the middle) then meandering variously through a volley of classics from the era. 

Shamelessly good vibes for 'gittin yo groove oahwn' to on dark evenings, or, as I do, enthusiastically cutting rug and throwing shapes on the train as sleepy commuters shoot me incredulous, vaguely envious glances, wondering how I can be so goddamn cheerful at the crack of sparrows on a wet northern winter morning on the way to work. 

There's no secret - just a little bit of aural magic to turn a rubbish day into a fun-fuelled funkfest! Ooosh! :-)
