Deep in the Kent Countryside lives one of my heroes, Cheryl Baker. Back in the 80s, she and her band, Bucks Fizz, were massive, they sold 15 million records and won Eurovision for the UK with Making Your Mind Up. Then it all went wrong, a coach crash left Cheryl with a damaged spine and Mike Nolan fighting for his life in a coma, it was a miracle they survived at all. 

30 years later they're still filling arenas and are just about embark on a 32 date, UK live tour starting with Comic Relief for the BBC. 

Cheryl is a big hero of mine, she's raised a fortune for charity, raised twins and maintained an admirable TV and music career. I spent this afternoon with Bobby, Cheryl and Mike, you can hear their interview with me soon, on the radio and right here on Soundcloud.
