Mode (Preview)

This is my usual musical process: Write something > recored it > spends months trying to perfect every detail > store it away on a hard drive and never share it with a single soul for all of eternity.
Tonight I decided to shake things up a bit and just hit the record button > improvise with whatever came out of me > embrace all of its imperfections > render it to an audio file > and share it. What a crazy idea! All sounds are from a single guitar with a few loopers and a volume pedal. Improvised in a single take without actually writing anything or practicing beforehand. It doesn’t get much easier than that, yet I can make it so hard sometimes.
