This week's haiku, by Masaoka Shiki (1867-1902), inspired an improvisation on Equator2 VST synthesizer, played on two ROLI Seaboard Blocks, with added effects. Recorded and mixed in Reaper.

Lyrics
Wolves and sheep
Cruel dance in the darkness of night
A new round up, but where is the fight

They glamour the sheep
All baffled by the masters’ strength and their icy speech
Sheep need to belong
Get along
Wolves and sheep

Wolves herding sheep
Unspoken hostilities shining through, 
from behind the masquerade
Some cannot keep up

Wolves feed off the weak
Submitting to such masters was not the best idea
There will be slaughter of sheep

Counting the sheep
They howl with the wolves to fit in
Lost their intuition somehow

Expelled or asleep
Or they feel exalted for not being the slaughtered one
Most need to belong
Get along
