I made up this tune for my grandson Liam aged two who is always on the move. Might be described as a Christmas reel.

Euan used to march round the house with the Up Helly Aa song playing in the background. I thought we could do with a change of music so I made up this march for him. I think it is a bit in the style of an Irish march and would fit in with something like 'Down The Glen' or another minor key tune.

The late great Willie Hunter of Lerwick, Shetland on this album recorded around 1970 with The Hamefarers Dance Band. He was a great friend of Sean McGuire and his music is still popular with Irish fiddlers such as Manus McGuire and John Daly.
