An elaboration of Tom Paxton's song from the 1964 album 'Ramblin' Boy', it contains 3 verses from the original and then 3 verses of my own.  If you like it I'd recommend listening to both the original and Pete Seeger's version.

This is a jolly little number that never fails to make me smile, I don't know if Pete Seeger actually wrote it or if it was a traditional song before he recorded it. In the spirit of old folk songs, I've added  a verse of my own, it should be fairly obvious which one it is!

I am some sort of singer/songwriter based in Nottingham (UK), these are a few of my more presentable efforts so far, I hope they are of some interest to some people
If the song title is followed by a name then its a cover of that person's song, if not then its one of my own. In my opinion a cover should be a reinterpretation not just a reiteration, so don't be suprised if my version differs wildly from the original.
