Ranjit Nijjer - Managerie (Orion Remix) [Machine]

Ed Black is a curious and wandering soul from Malta with influences emerging from various genres of music throughout his years as a party-goer. In his early teenage years, he regularly attended local minimal and house parties, which later led him to discover the underground scene that completely changed his perspective towards music.

Black felt an instant connection with techno from the very first rave he attended. Whilst staying true to his roots, he gradually developed his own vision of deep, rhythmic, yet groovy and fast-paced techno. Over the years he was inspired by a wide range of different styles and artists, particularly techno heavy-weights DVS1 & Rødhåd, whose musical influences reflect his desire to tell a story in his mixes today.

In 2018, he co-founded a local promotion alongside a few other individuals, which was his stepping-stone into the world of DJing. Although production hasn't been his main focus, the art of DJing remains his true passion and forte.

He is a rising star in the scene with a passion for hypnotic and bleepy rhythms. With his tribal, hardgroove style, he aims on keeping the crowd moving trough finding a good balance between old and new records.

Reich's philosophy is simple: "As long as it feels sexy." He believes that music should be a visceral experience that moves people on a deep level. His goal is always to create an intimate and energetic atmosphere on the dancefloor.

With appearances at places like Planet Rose, Basis and Courtoisy he shows he is a force to reckon with in the techno scene.
