Now I feel
Dust accumulate
That's the sound of passing time
I didn't know it had a sound til now
And I am listening
Dust accumulates and animates and now I'm changing

I read it in a book
I think I read it in my own pages
I saw it in this room
Where I'm waiting in this nook
I saw it with my own eyes
I heard it with my ears
Things are always changing but they're not
I've seen a lot of things waiting through these years
I saw it with my own eyes

That's the sound of passing time
I feel a tingle in my left page
Where there wasn't one before
Dust falls and I feel it joyfully in my spine

Dust accumulates
And animates

I wouldn't say I'm alive
But I wouldn't say I'm dead
I've got an animation
In my core in my spine
I'm waiting through these years
And I saw it with my own eyes
You could've done a better job
You could've saved all those species
And saved the trees and saved the planet
But instead you got a job

I'm not surprised
You could've tried a little harder
I've been changing through these years
And I've got a lot of acceptance
