Produced over several years, Solastalgia reflects a deep-rooted musical journey, channeling both memory and imagination. The title track draws on one definition of “solastalgia” — a nostalgia for a time never lived — echoing the emotional undercurrents that run through the EP as a whole.
Shaped by years at the helm of London’s Moodroom collective, working in A&R and synchronization for a major independent publisher, and a DJ career spanning the UK, US, France, and Germany since 2010, Kurt brings a seasoned yet singular voice to his first release — one that blends memory, melody, and movement in equal measure.

A sad private issue has kept me from posting for the last two months, but there is a huge mix that's waiting to be released since around the same time so now I can't let you wait any longer and have to finally put it out here where you can listen to this amazing hour of music of one of my "heroes":

@FredBerthet aka DJ Steef in my opinion is one of the most skilled editors out there. The way he crafts reknown songs into mesmerizing 21st century bangers of mighty groove and lost-in-sound contemplativeness, distilling their essentials, enhancing their atmosphere, sexyness and trippiness with perfectly dosed dub elements for me is absolutely mindblowing - I would really love to hear him playing live at a party! For those who like his music as much as I do, I recommend checking his vinyl outlet Biomix or his Bandcamp, where you can find some Biomix in digital format or delve into his current digital project "Love Saves".

I really hope you will enjoy this mix as much as I did, being excited by the beauty, intensity, profoundness and workmanship of those edits from beginning to end.

bORDEL (@user-628750708)  continues to establish itself as an essential label with a fantastic new EP from @Turbotito featuring remixes from Mondowski and Max Pask.

As well as being one half of Daytime Disco duo Poolside and a member of Ima Robot and Djosos Krost, Filip is also a producer and has produced music for Bonde Do Role, Azealia Banks, Baby Alpaca and many more. He also runs an imprint for his own material but now steps out on bORDEL to showcase his silky skills.

We found it hard to pick a favourite but UK artist and long time dark electronic explorer @Mondowski skilful remix of ‘It’s Always The Same’ blew our mind...a tripped out and languid deep house cut with searching synths and daubs of melodic colour.

We're willing to put good money on Dixon's remix of 'The Dawn' being a staple of his summer sets this year and it's a pretty good bet. 

His remix puts a growling, fierce new take on the original and he swaps delicate tones for rumbling bass hits and synths that propel and drive the track forward with an intensity only he can conjure up.

An outstanding EP all round and a remix from Dixon that ranks as one of his best to date.
