Colossio, Juan To Tree - El Lider (Theus Mago & Moisees Remix)

Established in 2020, the Spanish label Espacio Cielo, curated by prolific and skilled producer Parissior (SXDNS206/FREEDL043), has been slowly carving its name in stone among the most important Indie Dance/Dark Disco imprints out there by delivering a solid catalogue of releases featuring not only acclaimed artists but also interesting newcomers.

For its forthcoming episode, Espacio brings back the seasoned made-in-Belgium duo Marching Machines (SXDNS276) with their insightful and imperative “Hymn” EP – and the lads do not come alone: The ace remixes provided by none other than master Damon Jee and the label boss himself are the icing on the cake. Both, by the way, adopted the same “formula” for their collaborations: Respecting the originals by keeping most of the main elements but adding their widely known characteristic sonorities.

The three originals (Chrome, Empire, and Holograma), in turn, present themselves as a true showcase of both the technique and the creativity of the Machines. Their heavy and dense but highly danceable atmosphere – granted by vociferous acid lines, trippy pads, and a plethora of throbbing synth layers – could be best described as “darkness meets groove”, exactly the kind of soundtrack that we expect to hear when the machines start to march.

After his debut on Kaputt.wav with his track 'Two Worlds', Mufti the Mexican dungeon master returns with his first solo EP 'Eyes Shuttered' for the Colombian imprint. 
With a transatic an hypnotic growl that developes and grows throughout, the single 'Eyes shuttered' sets the tone for a dance in the night or in the woods, through clever synthesis , mist, and the words, ''I summon, a creature in disguise , eyes shuttered in the middle of the dark'. Definitely one of Mufti's polished works.
For his second single, Mufti picks up his guitar and turns on the distortion to drive us to the different paths of 'Desires' in his characteristic musical style.
Eyes shuttered also have taken two different ways by being remixed for two incredible and over the top music producers.
Our choice here felt on 'DC Salas' remix, the Belgium based & Peruvian born, master goes full on gotham style and release the chains of the dark creature in his take of the single.
On the other hand, 'Mishell' from Tel Aviv, turn up the bass and swing it like only he does in his minimalistic way.

ODD Pleasures welcomes back two of their dear family members, Berlin-based producer Radial Gaze, and Barcelona based producer and Bonkers Music label head Ludviq. This time joining forces to bring “Ruins of Argos” EP to the table.

This EP offers three original bass heavy tracks that blend elements of downtempo, breaks, and psychedelia resulting in a journey through a mental landscape from far away and exotic places.

Complementing with two pumping remixes the label welcomes the highly regarded Mexican producer Colossio presenting ‘Bitter Falcon’ remix, a bouncy hit that leaves no one behind. With its signature catchy Tech Mex flavor smashes any dance-floor without a hint.

Rounding things up, the label is excited to welcome back the groove wizard Mishell presenting ‘Ruins of Argos’ 303 remix, injecting an acid twist into the mix. A perfectly sculpted and elegant formula that results in an exquisite banger.

"Ruins of Argos" is available on 12" vinyl in very limited quantities, offering listeners a tactile and exclusive experience to accompany the auditory journey provided by the music.

Mexican label Kyma Komplex welcomes emerging artist Oto Veltauri, with his debut LP, "Dark Celebration”. a solid, electrifying journey. Influenced by the experimental works of Georgian composer Natela Svanidze and her groundbreaking piece "Epitaphium" (1974), Oto Veltauri explores into modular synthesis sounds from outside this dimension.
"Dark Celebration" blends musical genres, incorporating elements of lo-fi, acid, dark, and hypnotic vibes to create a powerful and introspective voyage. From the nostalgic sounds of 1980s drums to the pulsating basslines and ethereal samples, each track offers something distinctive and captivating.
Featuring four tracks performed on a vintage Moog Modular synthesizer from the 1960s, "Dark Celebration" showcases Oto Veltauri's evolution as a musician. While the tempo may have slowed compared to previous works, the tracks on this LP are characterized by their voluminous and varied compositions, offering a dynamic listening experience.

For the third label's release, Clouzer returns to Distant Gaze with ""Call of the Abyss,"" a six-track EP featuring three originals alongside three remixes from acclaimed artists Damon Jee, Zakmina, and Berlin's emerging talent, Zee Mon.

At the helm of the EP is Clouzer's captivating journey, ""Voices from the Abyss,"" extraterrestrial echoes and pulsating broken beats, embarking on an exploration into the depths of the unknown. The EP's second track emerges as a powerful stage presence, guided by the haunting vocals of Valentin Henning. Blurred and delayed textures immersing the listener in a mind-altering experience. Pulsating rave energy of ""Perpetual"" fuses cosmic elements, broken beats, and dark disco bassline, embodying Clouzer's distinctive sonic identity.

Adding to the EP's allure are three remixes, each offering a unique interpretation. The De Tomaso Pantera is an iconic V8 made in Italy from 1971 to 1992 and worked as a powerful influence for the one & only Miss Zagato's forthcoming endeavour. Her "Black Pantera" was inspired by the occasional rendezvous she had with the Ares Design version of “the panther” displayed at Salon Privé in London a few years ago. A lover of fast cars, Miss Zagato was soon struck by a wave of old musical references such as Michael Jackson’s “Speed Demon” and Grace Jones’s “Pull Up To The Bumper”, whose essence of their sexiness, poetry, and strength were brought together to help in the process of her new piece – another brick in the wall of her respectful discography which includes previous well-received appearances on Golden Soul, La Dame Noir, Kyma Komplex, Boite Music, Club Mackan, and Emerald & Doreen, incursions that turned Miss Zagato into one of the most interesting artists amid the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene.       

MZ’s "Black Pantera" comes with a chassis of steely synth layers, high torque leads, and body-hugging sports seats… sorry, vocals. The absurd 80s-infused aura develops its magic at delicious 118 BPM – yes, it is fast enough.  

A fun fact about today’s premiere: The lyrics were written while she was on the wheels of her Jaguar F-Type 400. Fortunately, composing and driving is still not forbidden. A sad fact: Her beloved car was stolen a year or so ago. =~(
