Sylphomatic Original Tracks

San Francisco based record label Roam Recordings celebrates its 100th release with a compilation from beloved alumni and new artists offering original work spanning darker shades of disco, cosmic techno, psychedelic, and acid house. What started as a group of ravers in the mid 90s that roamed the countryside (mostly in the US, Canada, and Mexico) looking for parties has evolved under the direction of its boss Jason Peters into a record label featuring a diverse array of internationally known artists. The intent of the record label is to continue the journey in search of new sounds while honoring the past. The Roam 100 Compilation is a milestone in that journey. It has been arranged to be enjoyed from beginning to end and to be rifled through at will.

Galaxia Sin Control - Ademarr

Curses, Chinaski, Damon Jee & Darlyn Vlys, Roman Flügel, Hammer, Javi Redondo, Zombies In Miami and TERR are just some of the many artists across both labels who have joined forces to spread this message. The aim is to raise as much relief as possible for two organisations: Ukraine Pride and Dance Deliver. They are dedicated to support Ukraine’s queer and creative communities, all of whom have seen their lives turn inside out since the Russian invasions began on February 24. Livelihoods, families and cultures torn apart. We stand with, send love to, everyone affected by this humanitarian crisis.
Complete with artwork from Ukrainian, Berlin-based multi-disciplinary artist Oksana Demidova, the album will be available on Bandcamp from now and is packed with positive frequencies from some of our favourite and most visionary artist. Full tracklist below. Please help us spread the word.

"Eyes On Karman" and ears on Sylphomatic! The very first EP of the shamanic electro music duo from Brussels comes dressed to impress! Through five high-quality original cuts, the lads introduce their talent and creativity to the Indie Dance/Dark Disco community with their solid debut on the mighty NEIN Records. Just don't think this is their first rodeo: Previously, they had been quite active on their personal Bandcamp having released some exclusivities on their own.      

Now, with their multi-genre EP, they successfully managed to combine a truckload of their main influences and deliver their vision of what dance-floor-oriented themes must embody.

The one we were solicited to premiere, for instance, opens the EP with a wicked and impish approach. A temperamental theme that combines a sexy vocal hook with retro-futuristic synth leads & layers with a pulsating bassline resulting in a Post-Punk-infused beauty.
