On January 21st, 2023, over 300 musicians and visual artists challenged themselves to create something in only 18 hours. Visual artists had to create a unique album cover & its supporting graphics, and musicians were limited to no less than 50 seconds and no more than 70 seconds for their songs; in short, a speedrun. The event encouraged creatives to think outside the box, picking their ideas apart in order to keep only the essentials. At the finish line, we received some of the most exciting tracks on a FORM compilation to date.

In the colors of each album cover and between the notes of each song are reflections of us— the artists. To leave pieces of ourselves *out* in lieu of a time constraint isn't easy, but it allows us to conclude what's at the center of what we create. Creativity, no matter how bare-bones or how complex & nuanced it is, is something nobody can ever take away.

All proceeds from any% will be going to SpecialEffect, a charity working to make video games accessible to those with physical disabilities.

This is the beginning of my brand new era ''Am i being enough?'' where i'll be showing you what my new and debut album will be about. This project consists about mixing all the genres i love to listen everyday and giving tribute of artists that are inspiring me every day on my darkest and brightest times through 2020 to 2024.

Back in 2021 i started making Dreamcatcher, as a collab with Gardens actually lol. Later on, they decided to not work on the project anymore, and said i could keep it for myself. At the time i was really starting to achieve the things i wanted in life, so thats why i named it dreamcatcher, as in someone who catches their dreams.

In January of 2022 i showed the track to IT Lives; he said it was really nice, and guided me into tweeking a couple of things that could make the song better. I was also talking to Vynil, who helped me write chords for the outro, and im very thankfull for both of them.

A bit later, Dreamcatcher was released in a compilation on Broken Vault Records, being the only colorbass chill song on there lol. When i was writing the track, i sampled a Porter Robinson song for the outro, which they said i couldn't use because of copyright issues (understandably), BUT they did say "you can release that version as a VIP later on".

So... 2 years later... that VIP is here!. I actually changed a lot more than just the outro :P For this one, i commissioned noisivy for the type design in the cover, which came out amazing; and i had a helping hand from pprmint in rendering the different assets for this release :D

I think im telling this story to show that you can achieve your dreams, if you have the right people around you. I wouldn't have gotten to the point i am if it weren't for all these amazing friends i've made throughout the years and i'm very happy for that. Thank you friends, and thank YOU for reading this.
