Written halfway through 2017 as a girl was waking up from my bed whilst I recorded this; the original lyric was something I had writ a while before: 'self-destructive cycle'. From said impulse, I improvised the most poignant lyrics I had ever known my mouth speak.

I have lots of close friends, but I only know one that's her.

I cannot even express the amount of interpretations for this song, but I was never 100% content with the last section; not that I'd change a thing except the title, right?
