Hailing from Ypsilanti, Michigan, m33shka makes music in the indie pop and house genres, but enjoys venturing into other areas as well. She grew up playing piano and studying music, and first delved into professional music production and engineering as a personal passion during university, quickly making it a permanent occupation and joining forces with Detroit-based music producer & engineer motorcitymello and creating Napland Studios & the production team “beepandboopproductions”, releasing collaborative projects featuring a variety of artists as Mello & M33shka. 

She began developing her sound after being inspired by the creative minds around her - experimenting with collaborations with other artists before delving into indie pop and soft electronic music, where she found her artistic identity and voice. Some of her personal musical influences include artists such as Lastlings, Toro y Moi, bülow, Inner Wave & more. This blend of experience and passion has helped her own unique style develop with catchy vocals and the spacey synths that are used in the production of her tracks. Danceable, melodic, and created with the hopes of connecting people through understanding of our similar existences. 🐻🫶
