What is this love? This emotion that all do crave.
I only know of giving love, never yet has my love been repaid!
There are so many pretty flowers I see.
Yet none of these flowers see me.
It is as if I were a single flee on its bud.
Hardly noticed will I be!
So again I ask you; What is this love?
To be as one yet of two separate parts,
And to be the warmest in the dark.
To caress your lover, and your lover's delights.
To have and to hold all day and night.
This I need to know. I need to feel not see.
- To be admired by the admire'ee!

Those eyes tell no lies. They couldn't as I can read right through them.
Our love is just a display of time, wasted for without loyalty is useless.

You are not meant for me, for my mind and spirit is too free to be confined by your spectrum.
Red is your only color, I am the black that consumes all other hues.
Ever wonder how I left you, and never looked back?

Well my love, the bad memories make it all too easy.
Your kiss is as sweet as that wine that makes me wheezy.
So I wish you well, wherever you are.
Remember me not, for ours was just a short spring’s bloom.

Low I can’t declare, my thoughts of you afar;
I sense the Reaper, and know I’m doomed.
My dawn is vastly approaching. Allow me to embrace my fate.
My sins in this life like a tide encroaching, just as the earth is by the sea shaped.

No longer will I waste my days on a wish. For this well is for fools and I’m all out of coins.
Let me greet my end with a kiss, and seal my dreams in wax and flame.

My words are all that’s left of me! 
So if you choose to remember me, please remember my goods, 
and forget I was lame.

Whispering softly; So only God can hear me.
This dark question will receive no reply.
Looking inwards, man does this hurt?
Forced to see the side of me I don't like.

Knowing and feeling.
Those are two separate kinds of entities yes -
But knowing just what you’re feeling;
To know what is in you is to know what’s killing me!

That’s the way it goes.  Yeah I’m alone everybody knows!
Me I wouldn’t mind just drinking my youth away.
Drugs out on the counter, yeah I smoke pot by the hour;
Street Pharmacist says: It is there to take the pain away!

There I go, down that one-way road.
Everybody around me here seems to know just where it goes.
There I am alone I must stand against these men;
Who seem to think that they’re my friends’.

No…No…
The world is so cold!
Oh how I hate to feel so alone! OH!
No..No…
The world so cold!
Yet here I stand alone, stand alone….

So many times I died, and yet I’m still here.

Do you know the sound of a shadow?
You can’t, but I do. It’s the invasion of both silence and blackness. From one point It grows and festers and once It’s there you are powerless.

There will be no shelter from It, in full strength It shrouds both the sun and moon and you have not a single point of reference. Everything and anything feels the same (The Great Nothing), It is the ultimate point of numbness. It unlike so many things in life It is something that follows you everywhere, even after death!

Fuck, you might as well embrace It. It can’t be shaped as It is like a vapor and no amount of emotional or spiritual awareness will ever form It. It is neither powerful nor powerless; It is the inevitable form of things to come, even the universe succumbs to its force and will die in an eternal state of coldness!

You all will know my words are true, the instant you kiss away your last breathe!

-Part One
Hope is like a candle, burning at both ends.
As the wax melts away the fire grows dim.
Slowly it fades away until there is nothing left except the smoke,
Which is mercy to the wind.

-Part Two
And to you my sweet love does my hope lose its flame.
Lust is but a memory but love it still remains.
All these prayers I've spoken all found in vain!
For it's now known that it's your heart that can't be changed.
So this hope is just mercy to the wind.
Yet with the wind shall carry all of my sins.
As new light spawns another day;
All hope for you has died,
Other flames shall always remain!

Let me take you on a journey of stones, echoes through woodlands and the sound of wind through leaf.
Trunks of trees adorned with engravings of lost dreams and forgotten souls.
-Told time and time again.

Don’t mind the compass there be no direction here. To know your position is irrelevant in this infinite space. Here you are wise to not use your site; you must feel the currents of sound, scent and emotion. Memory fades like the mists to dawn; here all you have is already gone.

Learn to float like a grain of dust and surrender yourself. Tears of the lost enrich earth, and with a drop of blood a flower grows. Learn to speak in thought and never answer yourself. Les be flung into a loop which the end not known.

What am I saying? Is anything really ever known? This place is not even bound by the simplest rule of nature, survival. The silence follows and grows in you. Your prison is in all that you fail to see, thus cannot be.

Fear not this place; it is only real to me.

It's through my own convictions that these word sprout.
Hidden as deeply as men hide their most sacred desires.
Alas do my own ears hear the curse, that by your own desires
My own must expire!

I would be a fool of fools to keep this candle of hope for you burning,Though I know your smooth dark complexion I shall always be yearning.So with a breath of pain and harsh totality
- I now extinguish this flame of hope from this reality.

Yet before I die, either in my youth or of old age;

I don’t know who you are, I only know this; you’re out there.
No matter the length of time and all my defeats, as long as air fills these aging lungs we shall meet!
Your form of feminine essence your allure that was meant for my heart and mine alone.
I guess this old man still dares to dream as a child; I know I am not alone!

Come greet me under the crescent moon, let me see you justly bathed in darkness.
Let me taste your sweet soft lips, to inhale you in like you would a rose.
I am here, I am waiting!
How much longer must I stand alone?

Your spirit serves as a beacon to me, oh how my path must be as random as others see!
I know with every step I venture to find you; this is how I set my spirit free!
Oh do all my worries I now cast them away, so that this free heart be bare of common way.
