Malek Ales is a Slovenian techno artist, who harvests regular support from electronic music pioneer Richie Hawtin. From Sonar Barcelona to Boiler Rooms and even the dark sweetly Italian clubs on his Plus8 tour. You name it Malek Ales music is played on all continents and is globally very well accepted. Playing since 2003 he is known for his intense and active performances with his Model1 being the center of his hybrid live set-up. 

Translating his emotions true machines on music, he won’t let you go home from a party without feelings of joy and belonging to the electronic music scene. Performing and touring the country since he was 11 years old with his Punk Rock band at the time, he is no stranger to studios and stages, while his connection to music from his childhood is deeply integrated into his DNA. Malek Ales tracks are dark and groovy with repetitive percussive elements, syncopating lines, addictive basslines, and memorable leads. The energy is captured inside the tracks, arranged in a way that will grab your attention and the emotions captured flow organically.   

Malek Ales has a minimalistic approach and is a versatile artist, producing a variety of micro-genres inside Techno, leaving none electronic music enthusiast empty-handed. His taste is on the repetitive side, with strong percussive elements allowing him to layer tracks on top of each other and creating new emotions on the fly. By releasing on labels like #Phobos and his new three track Timeless Ep on #Trapez Records he is making a statement for the future of Techno.   

Soak Ep is one of the bestselling Ep's from Malek Ales, released on Phobos in 2019 even though it was first played by Richie Hawtin over two years ago. Since then Malek Ales tracks are continuously played by electronic music giants like Richie Hawtin, among many other international DJs all over the globe. 

In the past 4 years, Malek Ales was releasing music under his alias Overheads with his Russian friend Lie2you. The Overheads project was and still is very well successful on the Minimal side of Electronic Music allowing those two artists to produce tracks they normally would not in their solo productions. Harvesting success globally while being highlighted by Richie Hawtin with their "Humano" remix on Boiler Room Buenos Aires in Argentina and many other Festivals around the globe. Their tracks were also remixed by some of the #Minus artists like #BrianGros.

Starting his music career as an 11-year-old Punk-Rocker, now sharing stages with big names, Malek Ales is deeply connected to the music scene and performances since his childhood, so it comes by no surprise that he is here for the long run, trying to make a difference by sharing his musical vision for everyone to enjoy.

Nelly Jay's ear for music developed at an early age and he was off to the races. This natural drive, along with the ability to turn people on to unfamiliar sounds with his unique taste and style, made him destined to do something notable with music in time to come. Being influenced early on by 90’s hip-hop, exposure to the rave and club scene, and Chicago House Nelly's passion for house and tech music was set in motion. Staying true to his roots, Nelly often brings elements of hip-hop and his other early influences into his sets while turning out cutting edge percussive tech-house beats. Nelly has been involved with Pure Gonzo Music from the start, keeping the rest of his contemporaries and music contacts up to date with the latest and most rare gems…perpetuating his reputation as ‘A DJ’s DJ’.  He has played some legendary underground sets over the years at rooms as big as Club Love and parties that are staples of NYC nightlife. With his successful podcast PGM Sessions, which has stood the test of time retaining it’s underground following, Nelly has not only been sharing his own music but has also been putting out mixes from his favorite DJs from around the globe.  Nelly’s PGM podcasts have featured music early on from Spain with Safir Muzic, to Hungary with Egothermia Records, to acts as well known for their underground sound.
