Hello,  

Our names are Alona and David Sofer. 
It all started back in 2016 when we decided to follow our hearts and pursue the American Dream. 
We moved in 2017 from Israel to Kansas. The beginning was rough, minimum wages, cultural shock and loneliness. It was just the two of us and our two dogs: Fender and Gibson. We still clearly remember the days when we had no money and no actual plan on how to make it work but we had a dream, and we were ready to go after it. 
We are no strangers to hard times, we both served in the Israeli Defense Forces, and David was a law enforcement officer for years. We witnessed years of war and terror attacks and had our personal losses. 
In Topeka, KS we met incredible and generous people who embraced us and gave us a family during our challenging times. After a year or so we decided that we were ready for the next step. David got a job as a law enforcement officer in a small town in Colorado and we bought our first home in America. It was a huge win for us. We decided to take a loan and record our first album Still on Top. We did it locally and played small gigs in our area. But life happened and the whole world stopped for two years and that was it. 

During that time, we had our daughter, Joy. She came to us after years of difficulties, but it all didn’t matter anymore because she was perfect, and we were so grateful to have her. The world changed and so did we. We realized that we had to go after what we always wanted and that was to live in Tennessee and make music. It is the land of opportunities. 

Once again, we packed our stuff and this time a two-day drive to our new and beautiful house out in the country in Trousdale County just 45 minutes away from Nashville. So close, so close. And here we are today telling that story five years later. Our new song ‘My American Dream’ is our story but also a testimony to our love for this great country and the brave people of America. We are truly blessed to be a part of this nation and we are proud Americans. We hope that you will listen to our song and share it with your friends and family. If you still believe that we can make it through and we can do it together as one nation, please join us and support our efforts to bring our music to more people and make more dreams come true.
