OPTYK is the project of Eoin Simpson, a DJ and producer from Derry, Northern Ireland. Starting out at 17, he’s spent the last few years shaping his sound through DJ sets, live performances, and long hours in the studio.

He first came up as part of SETS, playing live at Celtronic Festival and running parties across the county. Now focused on solo work, his music pulls from labels like Ilian Tape and Hessle Audio, blending broken rhythms, deep atmospheres, and detailed percussion.

Rooted in the Irish underground, OPTYK’s approach is low-key and self-driven—more about process and progression than quick exposure. His sound continues to evolve behind the scenes, with a steady flow of new material taking shape.

Scoobz is an Irish DJ and producer who first made waves in the national electronic music scene after winning the prestigious AVA Festival Emerging DJ Competition. His momentum continued with the release of his track “Goth Culchies,” which caught the ear of Avalon Emerson and was featured on her BBC Radio 1 Residency—earning Scoobz recognition from a wider audience.
Hailing from rural County Donegal, a place far removed from the traditional epicenters of club culture, Scoobz developed his love for electronic music through the eclectic sounds and boundary-pushing sets of artists like 2manydjs, Erol Alkan, Midland, and Avalon Emerson. Regular pilgrimages to influential Irish club nights such as Twitch, Celtronic, and Shine helped shape his diverse musical palette.
