Majistrate is no new jack to the game. With roots from reaching back to 93 on pirate radio all the way up to land make releases on labels such as Ganja Records, Valve Recordings, Bingo Beats & of course Playaz, his career has tracked a strong and steady trajectory to the top. 

Turno's entry into the big bad world of DNB came about a decade after, in 2003 when he got his first set of belt drive turntables. Since then, his rise to success has been unquestionably meteoric, releasing music with labels such as Serial Killaz, Titan Records & Low Down Deep.

Hot off the heels from his last release on the label, Newcastle based producer 'SKANTIA' is back with a slammer of a remix; and teaming with partner in crime and a main player on the jump up scene 'OPERATE'. Having been tested for the past few months on the road this track now finally sees the light of day and boy your going to love this number.

TAUNT VIP is a destructive time bomb just waiting to go off. If you remember the original well, then you will know this track means business. Erie intro and familiar sounds come crashing in before that massive drop slams the front door hard. There is not much we need to say about this track right here, but what we can say is 'it's a BANGER! SKANTIA & OPERATE have clearly been names to watch out for in 2017 and now they are going to take this year by storm with this hyped up jump up slammer. Already being supported by the top DJ's & Artists across the Drum & Bass scene.

Next up we have SWORDS, which shows SKANTIA's more darker and edgy style and sound.Kung Fu samples start the show off over a moody intro before the main drop gets too work. Hard stepping beats and off key bass notes make this one a top follow up to this producers amazing music and skill. A release a long time in the making, we’re very excited to welcome Basstripper to Skankandbass Introducing.  Having made a name for himself with releases on Low Down Deep and Rampage Recordings, in 2019 the Belgian rising star launched his own imprint to distribute his hard hitting, jump-up inspired sound to the world.   SNB070 is no different, featuring two of his signature heavyweight cuts in the form of ‘Punishment / Blatherskite’.

NEMESIS RECORDINGS was formed in 2005 by none other than SILVER aka NORTH BASE who thought it would be a good place to output the love he had for jungle / drum & bass music. Starting with only tape cassettes back in early 1993, SILVER got more and more into learning about music technology and recording his own music. Buying old computers like ATARI ST, COMMODORE 64, SPECTRUM ZX & AKAI, EMU samplers, SILVER got more and more into making drum and bass and continued to push his sound through his label. 

After meeting with partner in crime SONIC at a party and talked about music all night. They formed and created ACCIDENTAL HEROES and SONIC SILVER moniker, and the rest they say is history. Having had many releases on labels such as METALHEADZ, VIRUS, V RECORDS, INFRARED, REINFORCED, SILVER thought it was about time and release the first 12 inch record on NEMESIS RECORDINGS and signed a single from XAMPLE (RAM RECORDS) & SOL and the label went on from strength to strength.

Now with over 30 releases on the label NEMESIS boasts it has opened the doors and nurtured a lot of key artists and top producers on the dance music scene today such as SKREAM, A-SIDES, LUTIN-DUBPHIZIX, ZED BIAS, GRIDLOK, CHIMPO, CHAMPION, MC 2SHY, ROUGHCUT, MC FOXY, DJ ORIGIN, DJ CABBIE, NC-17, NW2, PRESTIGE, STATION EARTH, RAWTEE, XAMPLE & SOL, ONE87, DAWN RAID, WILL MILES, DJANDY, and the list goes on. NEMESIS RECORDINGS DIGITAL would like to think it has helped shape the future of what drum and bass is today. Not only from releasing records. But nurturing artists, Doing club nights around the world and none stop tours each year with some of the great artists on our roster.
