The promising duo who are definitely starting their adventure with the right attitude, enters the Apparel Family with a brilliant debut record, which represents the thirty-third release of the now consolidated APDEXTRA. The three tracks featured in ‘Boogie Me’ are three portraits of the artist’s musical talent and bring with them a fresh energy that only a new musical project can have. The first, and title track, is a rhythmic explosion with hints of Acid while the second and third are personal versions of the two artists of the track ‘Still Life’, which the pair personally decline in their own way. The structure of the EP is designed to give the listener all the tools to understand the musical characteristics of the two producer but, even without knowing the title of the tracks or having information on the tracklist, the record is highly enjoyable. The result is a danceable, fresh and carefree EP, perfect for starting the new year on the front foot.

Release Text:
Next in line from the GLBDOM label is a tasty four track EP from Dutch artist HATT.D. This is a very accomplished EP from the wonderfully warm tones of vocal led opener I "Thought I Was Wrong", which has a smooth 90’s classic RnB feel to the vocal, through the Italian Dream House vibes of "Dreams Of Paradise" and the effusive broken beat of "That Feeling". The EP ends like the icing on the cake with a track called "Energy Transmission" which combines the analog and electronic end of the Deep House spectrum. Smooth synths, delicate keys and strong percussion all make this a delight of a track.
