May 9th sees the re-launch of Yousef's Carioca Records. British producer SevenDoors (Diynamic Music, Exploited Ghetto, Eklektisch) is given the honour in reigniting the label. He does so in style with a splendid three track release. We're delighted to present you a snippet from the EP in the form of a full premiere of 'Mesoplodon' - this is an epic cut, a pulsating eight and a half minute trip along an underwater highway. SevenDoors fuses an upfront groove and soft melodic touches to great effect.

‘Temporary Sanity’ first appeared on the critically acclaimed ‘Time’ (LF017) album by Guy Mantzur & Sahar Z, and has remained a standout favourite since the LP was released back in November 2014. Now, Cornucopia has breathed a new life into the track with a beautifully melodic, subtle, sun-drenched percussive remix.

Already a huge track for John Digweed, who loved it so much, he featured it on his recent ‘Live In Montreal’ (Bedrock) release. Since then, the demand has been steadily growing for Cornucopia’s remix to be released in its own right, so at last, here we have it in all it’s glory on Lost & Found.

Once in a while an album appears that is distinctly special and has the ability to captivate audiences on a global scale, breaking through simplistic genre boundaries and uniting people through its exploration of the psyche of modern electronic dance music. Guy Mantzur & Sahar Z’s ‘Time’ project was such an album, and it remains as captivating and enthralling today.

expanding the Afterlife totality into a label. The label and events will complement each other with one
aim; to bring the crowd into another dimension of music perception with enthralling production to that
ignite the senses.
The ‘Realm Of Consciousness’ voyage commences with Tale Of Us’ Lies - a fitting introduction with
quivering keys and restrained percussion that engenders an ominous suspense ahead of Monoloc’s
enigmatic industrial techno crunch, Phoenix. Shifting through the haunting chords of Recondite’s dynamic
Murphy’s Law, to the brooding synth of Poseidon by Ukrainian duo Woo York, the realisation of Afterlife
utopia is upon us. The repetitive, mesmerising synth and effective reverb that Somne creates with Triangle
is an odyssey within itself. From there, John Hester’s expertly woven ‘Logan’ is a feverish techno stab that
transverses through the emotional senses, transitioning to Locked Groove’s adroitly crafted Emeralds, to
Ryan James Ford’s ambient, albeit percussive, techno cut Toree Bahrstad. Die Wiederkehr is the outcome
of Obscure Shape & SHDW’s collaboration, which incorporates facets of techno and trance that have
been shaped with real guile and finesse. Mind Against round off the compilation with Gravity - a
mystifying ambience and a fitting title as we touch back down to planet earth.

Worst Case aka Tony Casanova & Joshua Jesse's “Rocket” EP comes at us with two hard hitting originals and three reworks anchoring on the talents of some of the finest producers around at the moment.

“Rocket” opens up swiftly with an effervescent bustle, as the groove is slowly built up through ascending synth leads. The ear catching leit-motif though is an insurgent guitar sample, reminiscent of 70s power solos. Despite the overall oldschool flavour of the track, we’re quickly reintroduced to present day soundscapes, as we reach its peak point. Surprisingly enough, the tension is smoothly resolved and the original dynamic is reverted.

Centered on a setup of layered vocals, “General Opinion” offers an upbeat groove from the get go, bolstered by a carefully crafted array of ascending whizzes, tribal roars and clattering bells. Distant cut-outs of the vocals create a spacious and relaxed outro, unwinding to a full stop.

US sound traveler Clint Steward revamps “Rocket”, building up anticipation through percussive slabs. Promptly triggered cavernous bass snippets enthrall and intrigue, as the ambiance morphs into that of an otherwordly sonic journey.

Niko Schwind injects his trademark oomph, giving “Rocket” some extra boost. Balancing sharp chops with subversive synth detonations, the piece gains even more fire to fuel the dancefloor.
From the other side of the globe, Aussie Murat Kilic reshapes the audio storyline in “General Opinion” to a progressive, uplifting affair peppered with sunken ringers. Still playing upon a vocal sample from the original cut, the track shows off a jagged edge, displaying a deeper and darker version rendition of the latter.

Aus Music celebrates its tenth birthday this year, as well as its landmark release number 100 – fittingly enough. Will Saul‘s imprint has spent the last decade lovingly building its reputation as one of the most trusted and respected labels for dance music the UK, and quite possibly worldwide too. Joy Orbison’s So Derobe, Ramadanman’s Void 23, George Fitzgerald‘s Child, Leon Vynehall‘s Brother, Bicep‘s Just – it’s likely that Aus Music has soundtracked your most memorable and significant club moments.

To mark two milestones in Aus history, the label presents a 24-track quadruple vinyl/triple CD/vast digital compilation set to drop this summer. Composed of entirely new and exclusive tracks, the compilation is built up by key members from the Aus family as well as boss Mr. Saul himself – Bicep, Midland, Huxley, Deetron, Nick Höppner, Pearson Sound, Youandewan, Marquis Hawkes, Gerd, Sei A, Bwana, Fold, Shenoda, Appleblim and Komon.

For our eighteenth chapter, we welcome back two of our most popular artists from last year. At the time they were in the early stages of their careers; both have risen quickly since then.

Rafael Cerato (Systematic, Suara, Stil vor Talent) continues his ascent in the electronic music scene, collaborating once again with fellow rising star THe WHite SHadow (FR), who picks up from his own Goodbye EP on Chapter 24 - the label’s bestselling release in 2015.

Here they offer up three quality originals marked by the pair’s own unique style and ineffable grasp of groove and melody. ‘Memories’ and ‘Distance’ strike more emotional, club-ready tones while ‘ID’ is a pure dancefloor driver.

This newly-forged French connection is joined by two giants of the Spanish house and techno scene.

Marc Marzenit (Bedrock, Cocoon, Tronic) has been a staunch supporter of Chapter 24 right from the start and we are delighted to welcome him on board. Marc’s ability to impregnate sense and sensibility to more 'muscular' techno is once more on show in his Edition of 'Distance', sure to be a summer hit.

Meanwhile, David Granha (Sincopat, Sudbeat, Parquet), one of Spain’s most respected underground producers, closes things off with a powerful techno rendition of 'ID'.
