Hot on the heels of the winter warmer release on Haunted, Alexander Kassberg aka Starving Insect comes up with 2x4 tracks that strike a rougher tone: Bubbling analogue sequences (this is ZUUR after all), muscular EBM („Hate and Exterminate“), vintage euro electro bass lines („Stillborn Euphoria“), slow and sweeping rave debris and nightmarish atmospheres (Nightmare City“), timeless space techno („Eviction oft he self“). And to make ends meet for good, four highly prolific producers have been invited for remix duty and left their signature each: Rhythm noise pioneers SYNAPSCAPE play it high pitched and noisy, OMNICIDE adds abyssal depth, HIDDEN ROOMS has engineered a techno banger and Embryonic finishes off this killer package with a vortex of delirious off beats.
