His 'Back Channel Communications' EP exemplifies his highly refined production technique developed from years of experience as a DJ, producer, and label owner. Amalgamation opens the record heavy, brooding, and sinister; continuing with Conspire., an rhythmic exercise in drive punctuated by sparse syncopated claps. Flip the record,. JX-216· delivers hefty angular grit in his remix; and closing out the EP, Jason takes us into space with Enveloped, featuring1 expansive atmospheric themes.
