I had the chance to meet the Robot Heart crew twelve years ago in NYC for a giant Halloween party where I played on the ‘copy bus’. 

That was a life changing moment somehow. I realized my music could be the soundtrack for a world that’s beyond our imagination, far from my Paris studio.

In 2023, I come full circle by performing at Burning Man for the very first time with my partner Liset Alea. 

This Thursday sunset set was a moment we’ll savour for years to come.

In this live recording you’ll hear: Liset singing 30 feet above the ground from inside the blinking heart, the voices of multiple colorful creatures dancing all around us, the massive Know Audio custom sound system rumbling under our feet, the laughter of unicorns, dragons and shamans… and if you really listen carefully you might even hear the buzz of a billion stars shimmering above our head.

Memories of Robot Heart founder Geo carried us along the set. His legacy will live forever.

Thank you Robot Heart for your commitment to music, love and Burning Man.

Since the mid-1990s he has been totally addicted to electronic music from artists such as Aphex Twin, Daft Punk or Jean-Michel Jarre. His style was inspired early on by the game sounds of his Commodore Amiga 600. Offsets of this 8-bit sound can be found in many of his tracks. As a teenager, he built self-made synthesizers and sound generators and collected an armada of technical music equipment. Newspapers reported him when he was only 14 years old.
