Neon Motive were born out of the desire of 3 solo producers/multi-instrumentalists to create dreamy, synth-based music with a strong pop sensibility. Hailing from Toronto & Montreal Neon Motive embodies the musical passions and eclectic musical tastes of its 3 members,  fusing elements of electronic, folk and pop. The bands approach is improvisational and melodic, drawing on influences as diverse as  Broken Social Scene, The xx, Sun-Ra & Katy Perry. While you may often find Yan behind a guitar, Daenen behind the drums and Harry awkwardly hunched over a sampler, the members of Neon Motive never shy away from a challenge and are likely to find themselves behind a new instrument with each song they write.
