sound concept;  accoustic drums and bass gets supported by sequencer tracks and drums and loops. as instruments for the melodic shape we use eighter guitars and spice it with synthsounds or percussion tunes. the most important sound device for our music is the hard slapped bass giving a very percussive attitude to it all.

Neon-  Sequence Of Lust

i'll start the story with the end. at least the end for now...a little grill party was thrown the other day. that alone is not a bigger matter. but one should definitively watch his grill and avoid by chance to fuckin' burn down the whole place!!! the incident led to hardware trouble and could not be solved. all data seemed to be disappeared, and the back ups burned, roasted or fried- one word- damaged! the few songs i dared to post are the only survivors.  
of cores i by now know that there are 2 major faults to all the tracks. at the time we didn't work with subs and didn't use the common wanted sounds anyway.  second matter, we did it all without plugins and recorded in a 32 channel midi studio with only hardware synths and effects. since none of us was a dj or performing as one, the arrangements sometimes feel a little bit strange and overdone. we partly worked with 20 channels for the beat only and people won't even notice because the differences were too smooth. anyone who ever did studio recordings knows how difficult or in fact stupid it is to mix something like this. so we classically learned by doing.

the project "neon" hat it's birth in a night with some drinking and, well you know...basically it comes out to the feel the dj's sucked and we could do it better. when we worked on the first track, not very seriously though, we quickly learned it was not that simple and everybody had his own private view. there was a lot of fighting and we lost the first two "members of the group" in the first couple of hours. a few sessions later more or less everybody retired. it was basically me and myself, sometimes joined by other folks that kept the story alive.
