artistic advancement combined with a logical stylistic continuation is an important aspect of nebulo's work. the 'basements' ep is the first part of thomas pujols' new conceptual idea which is completed by the full length release 'castles'. the visible emphasis of nebulo's new works lies in the addition of as yet unheard sound aesthetics developed during the last two years. the atmospheres transferred with these sounds range from dreamy and mesmerizing to abruptly irritating and even menacingly forceful. like a sonic architect, nebulo successfully explores new territories and strikes a new path, where 'basements' can be allegorized as the foundation

PoleGroup presents the second opus of his CD mix series Unknown Landscapes Vol 2: a compilation of unreleased tracks, mixed and compiled by a member of the PoleGroup platform.

To make up the second volume, Christian Wünsch has selected 21 previously unreleased tracks. Besides tracks by Reeko, Spherical Coordinates, Exium, Christian Wünsch, Kwartz and Oscar Mulero, the tracklist includes works by many new faces at the label, such as Claudio PRC, Adriana Lopez, Woo York, Giorgio Gigli or Tensal.

With this second volume, PoleGroup invites you to discover a powerful selection of unreleased tracks from high-quality techno producers, all mixed by Christian Wünsch in an almost 70 minutes long compilation.

An extra feature about this mix series is that the selector chooses a maximum of 4 tracks from the mix CD that will be exclusively released on vinyl.

First release on Acroplane Recordings from Japanese producer Himuro Yoshiteru.

His style is often described in the media as very playful. It consists of finely chopped, fast rhythms in combination with jazzy bass and synthesizer lines and 8bit sounds. In this area he is one of the prominent Japanese musicians of this time.

The EP includes a great remix from Brain Rays (one half of Acroplane artists Baconhead). Keep an eye out for more Brain Rays material on the Bizarre Rituals label (bizarrerituals.bandcamp.com/)

Available to buy from www.acroplane.org directly and from Juno on Monday 1st December 2014. Hits all other stores (Bleep, Boomkat, Addictech etc) a week later.

The third chapter of Shadow Story is another collaboration between its joint label owners, Dronelock and Ontal who show once again that their symbiotic relationship is a meeting of like-minds and distinctive production techniques.
The EPs opener, ‘Parallax’ starts with a cinematic intro before launching into its pounding groove and dark electronics before the Shadows Remix version comes crackling into play.
The title of ‘Drop Forge Steel’ conjures up an industrial landscape and you won’t be disappointed when this tough Techno track starts throbbing with all the intensity we’ve come to expect from the Dronelock / Ontal partnership.
Though ‘The End of Eternity’ continues the pace of its predecessor, it also displays a quietness in its gentle melody to juxtapose the steely resonance.
The shimmering ‘Templum’ launches next, with a heavy kick and beat-led drive that carefully builds layer upon layer, gathering momentum to become a beast of a track.
‘Hypothermia’, with its beats pulsating like a heartbeat, closes another decisive EP from the Shadow Story camp.
