Pretty sure I was still in high school when I made this for @littlewhiteearbuds when I interned for them - first job in the music industry. Every year end there was a mix contest; this one I ended up partially reworked in my début show for Astral Travelling. Listening back there are some moments that are sublime and other moments that are...dated to say the least. Put together in Ableton like everything I made up until I started in radio.

This is like a time capsule of a certain field of minimal techno mainly - in my head I was inspired similarly made compilations by Joris Voorn, Deetron, and Richie Hawtin, but I wanted to integrate more house into it. A lot of this you can tell even without seeing the production year that is a product of 2008 & 2009. And yet over the year’s it’s somehow become my most popular mix, not just from age but attention.
